Dr. Chris Olshavsky

(PT, DPT, CAFS, CCI)

Chris entered physical therapy school at the University of Puget Sound after graduating from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Biology.  A collegiate baseball injury was a forced introduction to the profession, but after going through the healing process himself, Chris wanted to help others achieve the same success he had personally seen.

Experienced in working with various populations, Chris has been fortunate to spend nearly 10 years in Orthopedics and Sports PT.  He has worked with athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to professional athletes; working professionals whose job functions demand optimal physical performance; tactical athletes from local firefighters and police to our nation’s elite special operators; and anyone who wants to improve their life and move better.  No matter the population, Chris believes in creating a feedback-rich environment where patients can learn to take control of their health to optimize their progress.

Specialties:

Chris treats all injuries and postoperative patients, but has a particular interest in shoulders (rotator cuff tears, overhead athletes, throwing injuries) and knees (ACL repairs and non-operative management of ACL ruptures, among others).  He is also as Titleist Certified Medical Provider through the Titleist Performance Institute, specializing in golf rehabilitation and injuries.

Hobbies:

In his free time, Chris enjoys learning about and making his own beer, fly fishing, dog training and bird hunting, stand-up paddleboarding, playing baseball, and spending time with his family and English Cocker Spaniel, Hera.
