Dr. Clinger is a family practice physician with Primary Health Medical Group on the corner of Chinden and Linder in the Meridian/Eagle area. Dr. Clinger is an Idaho native, growing up in Eastern Idaho where he established a love for the outdoors. He pursued a medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health and Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Clinger spent 14 years in the Air Force working as a general practitioner where he gained invaluable experience in his field.

Dr. Clinger works with a wide variety of patient ages and diagnoses, priding himself in providing comprehensive care customized to his patient’s needs. He especially enjoys the treatment of internal medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus and hypertension. He enjoys educating patients on behavior modifications that can be done to help manage and improve diabetes mellitus; he suggest consuming regular and smaller portion meals that are well balanced nutritionally, monitoring blood glucose levels, being physically active, and following up regularly with your treating physician.

To stay active, Dr. Clinger enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hunting, and fishing; and spending time with his family.

He is currently accepting new patients and can typically get patients in for an evaluation in 1 week or less. Dr. Clinger has availability to see patients Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. The Primary Health Medical Group is located on Chinden and Linder in a beautiful new facility.
